Malibu Rocky Oaks

This venue is spectacular and offers 360 degree views of the Malibu area, including the mountains, valleys and ocean.

My favorite part of this venue is the ceremony area as it overlooks the mountains and valleys. This venue is located on a 37 acre property and will make you feel like you're somewhere in Tuscany.

Kestrel Park Weddings

This venue is located in Santa Barbara and will make you feel like you're in the countryside of England. My favorite part of this venue is a structure it has that honestly looks like a castle. It also has a lavender field area.

This venue is on private property and hosts a very limited amount of weddings per year, so it needs to be booked well in advance. However, it is available for engagement session rental.

Sunstone Winery Weddings - Romantic California Wedding Venues

This venue is GORGEOUS. It will make you feel like you have been transported to the French Countryside. Like Kestrel Park, it is also located in Santa Barbara in wine country. It also has 360 degree views of the Santa Inez Valley.

It has really interesting architecture that is made from reclaimed materials from different buildings in France. It also holds antique pieces, wooden beams, and other architectural elements that actually use to be in a Lavender Factory once owned Queen Victoria.

It is also surrounded by lavender, rosemary, and olive trees.

Villa Del Sol D’oro Wedding

This wedding venue is Tuscan Inspired. It's located in Arcadia, California. My favorite part is the ceremony site, which offers elegant views of the property.

Fun fact about this venue: it was used as a backdrop in Legally Blonde and Princess Diaries.

Something I really appreciate about this Arcadia wedding venue are the food options. They offer a lot of variety and it's all really delicious.

I also love how local this wedding venue is to the Los Angeles area, making it super easy for guests to acesss.

Korakia Pensione Wedding- Romantic California Wedding Venues

Another Romantic California Wedding Venue is the Korakia. This venue is a boutique hotel located in Palm Springs. It's Mediterranean inspired, making one feel like he or she is somewhere in... Greece, Spain, or perhaps Morocco! I love this venue because it has a desert romance meets bohemian and free spirited quality.

It has unique archways, a gorgeous courtyard, and is surrounded by fragrant citrus trees and jasmine flowers. It also has views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Overall this venue has an exotic flair. It’s sexy and romantic. And with it’s mediterranean influences, it makes for a really interesting space.  

I will say that the only major thing to consider is that it is fairly small property. It looks a lot larger in photos, but it really isn’t all that big. I think it’s perfect for more intimate weddings of 75 people or less, but it's definitely not a venue for say a 200+ wedding.

I love that this venue is in Palm Springs because if you have guests in the Los Angeles area, Palm Springs is far, but it's not TOO far. It will give your wedding a destination-like quality without all of the inconvenience.

The Adamson House Wedding

This venue is one of my absolute favorite Romantic California Wedding Venues.

It’s located in Malibu and has breathtaking views of the ocean. It’s also a Spanish style house with Moorish influences.

It just has really great architecture with it's colorful tiles, bold colors, and interesting arches.  I like how much variety this venue offers backdrop wise - you have the ocean, a garden area, and amazing architecture.

The property actually also has a really interesting history and is open for tours, which I highly recommend if you’re ever in that area.

Fairmont Grand Del Mar Wedding

This venue is a hotel located in San Diego and it also has a mediterranean style. It has a a lot of really interesting arches and stained windows.

I think this venue is a good combination of classic and sophisticated meets dramatic and romantic. Also, it’s convenient that it’s a hotel so if you have some guests who are driving a few hours to your wedding, they can stay on site. I think that’s a huge plus.
