Photo Booth in Los Angeles - Is it a Good Idea?
Is a Photo Booth in Los Angeles a good idea? As a LA based wedding photographer, I'd say so!
From what I have noticed, photo booths can be a great entertainment source for the guests. It seems to be always filled with a group of people using it and leaves everyone with some fun memories to take home with them in the form of photographs.
Here are 5 benefits of having a photo booth at a wedding
Having a photo booth for your Los Angeles wedding is going to be worth increasing the fun part of your wedding. Here are five reasons to have a photo booth at your Los Angeles wedding.
Great source of entertainment - Photo booth in Los Angeles
All the guests are going to love the idea of having a photo booth. From shooting weddings, I've noticed that every time people come out of the photo booth, they have huge grins on their faces.
Another reason to add photo booths at a Los Angeles wedding is that they provide an option for guests to interact, gather around, laugh together and talk.
Make memories
Photo booths can give you numerous copies of photos in hard form and ensure that every guest has a copy. These can also serve as wedding guest favors!
Personalization
Various objects and signs could be added to the photo booths. These can be used to further personalize one's wedding. I have seen it all! For example, one couple was REALLY into the show F.R.I.E.N.D.S, so they re-created the coffee shop with a fun couch and coffee cup props. Since so many people love this show, guests had a fun time with it!
Another couple had a wedding with a hippie/70s vibe, so their photo booth was in a super cute hippie style van.
Suitable for any age
Photo booths are suitable for individuals of any age. Guests of any age can have fun. From kids to older people, everyone enjoys taking pictures.
Other Option - Instant Cameras
If you want to have a way for guests to be left with photos, but you aren't 100% sold on the photo booth idea, another option is to purchase 2-3 instax cameras. These are sold on Amazon and come in a variety of colors. I'd also get a lot of instant film to make sure you don't run out on the wedding day.
I'd place these cameras along with the film on a table in the reception or cocktail hour space. I'd also include a sign with something that reads "Help us remember our day. Take one photo for you and leave one for us."
These photos can serve as guest favors, but can also leave you with more special memories. If you'd like, you can setup a blank book or album, where guests can leave the photos on. Or, another option is to set up a wall where where guests can hang the pictures as a display.
